KRAIL head spoke about positive aspects of legalisation of gambling business in Ukraine
Chairman of the Gambling all slots and Lottery Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (GRAIL) Ivan Rudy in his interview told about the current prices for Ukrainian gambling licenses. The functionary also touched on the issue of the benefits of gambling for society.
He reiterated that the cost of permission to organize a land-based casino in Kiev is 360,000,000 hryvnia. The license is valid for five years. For other cities, this figure is 180,000,000 UAH. To open a slot machine hall, you need to pay a license fee of UAH 45,000,000 (the price of the license to run a single unit of the slot machine - 180,000 hryvnia). At the same time, a single permit for a table games table costs UAH 2,700,000 and for a roulette wheel table it costs UAH 5,250,000.

Next, Mr. Rudy touched upon the topical issue for Ukraine: how the legalization of gambling business will affect the public life of the state. Chairman of the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission assured the previously reported about the use of funds obtained from the sale of licenses to operators of gambling for social needs and the development of important areas of the economy. Thus, 50% of the proceeds will be sent to the local budgets of the regions where a particular institution was opened. He noted that the government plans to use the money to implement new social infrastructure (kindergartens, schools, parks and sports grounds).
